Aurelia's nose is
embroidered with a pinkish-red thread and
then I applied
my nose "color-&-painting"
technique for much more detail.
Aurelia's wings are handmade off double
layered organza silk and trimmed with
wonderful accents.
I put genuine fresh water
pearls on top of her wings.

Aurelia was created from my own pattern. She is a "NEW FANTASY STYLE"
This is my first one and I am sooo thrilled at how wonderful this piece turned out.
She has tons of detail and I'm sure you won't be dissapointed in this charming one-of-a-kind piece!!

Aurelia travels to
her new home sitting on her own
"Postcard"-box.
This box has so
much detail, I don't know where to begin and
how to describe it.
Let's give it a try
and I start with the top.
I covered it with
an old pink fabric which I distressed for a
vintage look.
It is trimmed with
an old pink rayon ribbon and antique French
lace which I found in a "brocante"-shop
in Vichy-France. I
have a small silk ribbon woven through the
lace.
I applied my
specially developed "color-&-painting"
technique on the box. Then aged to look like
an old box.
The final layer is
a special varnish so that the box will
remain beautiful.
The bunch of
flowers on top, the little ladybirds, small
stripes, handmade postmark and small
satin rosebuds
(also handmade by
me) are charming finishing touches.
On the underside of
the box you will find my handmade signature
label so you know that you are
getting an original
Milly Me® Design.
Look at those
wonderful flowers...
They are hand
painted and beautifully distressed with
accents of morning dew.
I love the way how
they turned out.
Aurelia's hat is double layered and it has
so much detail.
It is wonderfully distressed for definition, trimmed
with a shabby ribbon
and a handmade ring made off twisted copper
wire, swarovski
bicones with other beads & pearls.
